So many of us get into horses or buy our first horse because we have a dream.
We hold a vision of some day galloping into the sunset - perhaps bareback, maybe bridleless -
on our trustworthy companions . . . laughing and romping like children.

We buy a horse, take some lessons, and somehow over the course of a few months,
the dream oftentimes turns into a nightmare.

Perhaps the horse won't load and our trail riding dreams are dashed . . .
Perhaps the horse is needle shy and vet checks are horrifying . . .
Perhaps the horse won't stand for the farrier . . .
Perhaps the horse bucks or kicks or bites or won't stand still or won't go or runs over humans or hates the saddle . . .
And then our horses become either pasture ornaments or if we're lucky, we sell them to someone else with a dream.
But what if somewhere deep down inside that dream is still alive in us? What then?

Then it's up to each of us to find some help. That's what I did.

And now my dreams are coming true. My horses run to me when I come to the barn.
One even knickers to me every time I go outside!
You can do it, too! Don't give up on your dreams! Ever! Just get help!
Email or call me (803-687-0419)- I can help!*

About the same time I found a different way to interact with our animals, I found a different way to think about their health,
my health, our soil, and perhaps life in general. OK, maybe I got them healthy first and wondered why I was expending so much time,
energy and money on them being healthy and I was still eating junk food! Anyway, I have learned so much about health, nutrition and lifestyle lately that (once again) I have to share.
Now, my life truly is DYNAMITE!

I can also schedule your free horse, pet or human health consultation (including muscle testing) anywhere within 50 miles of Gilbert, SC. To schedule,

"Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of solitaire. It is a grand passion. It seizes a person whole,
and once it has done so, she will have to accept that her life will be radically changed." Ralph Waldo Emerson

RIP: Don Cooper Patton, October 18, 1943 - July 17, 2008

Dancin' Don was the happiest, friendliest, most generous, and kindest person I have ever known.
I met him 4 years ago at the Wonderful Weekend in Ward and he quickly became one of my favorite people.
He lived life the way I'd like to: happy, smiling, dancing, hugging, loving, and with a Santa Claus twinkle in his eye.
Ask me what a cowboy is and I'll send you to Don's picture in Webster's Dictionary. Somewhere in Heaven,
God and St. Peter are learning some new dance steps!

Just looking at his picture makes me smile.

Don't let the rain get you down - it's a waste of time
Have your fun - live every day in the bright sunshine

Be Young, Be Foolish, But Be Happy
Be Young, Be Foolish, But Be Happy

Don't let love slip away
Live your life for today

Life is too short to worry about unimportant dreams
Reach for the sky and touch a star
Cause dreaming alone is a shame indeed cause if you have love you have all you need

Be Young, Be Foolish, But Be Happy
Be Young, Be Foolish, But Be Happy

RIP "Big Daddy" - Everette Moyer

Once in a lifetime (or maybe twice in a lifetime if you're really lucky),
you meet someone who doesn't stay in your life for long, but who makes an extraordinary impression on who you are.
My friend, Everette Moyer, was this person for me. I met him only in the Fall of 2003,
but he quickly became one of my all time favorite guys.
He passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2008. I would grieve for him, but he won't let me.
Every time I sit down to sob my heart out, I hear his big, booming voice yelling, "Get up, girl! Let's go ride!"
I miss him every day.

"You find out who your friends are
Somebody's gonna drop everything
Run out and crank up their car
Hit the gas get there fast
Never stop to think 'what's in it for me' or 'it's way too far'
They just show on up with their big old heart
You find out who your friends are"

So long, Big Daddy. Thanks for never stopping to think "what's in it for me" and thanks for showing up
with your "big old heart" when I needed you. Don't let Moochie unseat you if he drops his shoulder and spins
when you get to the edge of the meadow - that's one of his favorite tricks. I know he was waiting for you when
you got to the Rainbow Bridge. Ride on, but wait for me at the trail head ... Hard Rock & I will be there soon enough.

"To die is not really to end . . . living and dying are both your most intimate friends"
